I will make this review as short and accurate possible.

I bought this to my house in a mountain where I only go on weekends and I don’t leave the electricity ON all the time, so batteries was a must have. I got robbed once and immediatly start looking for options. Bought two of this.

Works like a charm and the sound is very loud, I just wish that it didn’t stop automatically after 30 seconds. Because there is actually no one near my house, I rather the alarm run out of juice than to stop making noise and give another try to the thief or whatever.

    PROS:
    -Loud noise
    -Runs with battery
    -Easy to setup
-The sensor covers a great distance indoors

    CONS:
-Stop making noise after 30 seconds if it doesn’t detect any movement

    Hope this helps,

For the most part it works as advertised, however as I was testing it I noticed that sometimes you can walk by it and the device wouldn’t go off. If I attempt this a second time however I would be detected. I would just suggest for this reason you should buy two to overlap the “secured area”. They’re cheap enough for that and give you ample time to armed/disarm them

I bought a motion sensor alarm from Home Depot for $20 which had a 95DB alarm. It was useless as the sound could be barely heard even in the next room. A thief would laugh at it.Returned this alarm. After researching the net this was the most powerful with a 130 db(decibals) alarm and for half the price. Its features are also more sophisticated compared to home depot one. I would highly recommend this.
